Grainland Select® 44% protein soybean meal. Dehulled soybean meal and ground soybean hulls. Soybean meal is used in food and animal feeds, principally as a protein supplement, but also as a source of metabolizable energy. For poultry, swine, beef & dairy cattle and sheep.

Golden German Millet is commonly used a drought tolerant cattle feed planted into wheat stubble. Golden German Millet is also used for food plots, dove fields, erosion control and exotic bird feed.

Field peas are used in spring plantings as a source of organic matter and nitrogen, which improve overall soil health. Peas are a modest nitrogen-fixer on vegetable ground, but are the only choice in spring. In late summer, peas can be interseeded with oats to provide ground cover over the winter.

In the United States, sorghum is used primarily as a feed grain for livestock and for wild bird feed blends. Feed value of grain sorghum is similar to corn. The grain has more protein and fat than corn, but is lower in vitamin A. When compared with corn on a per pound basis, grain sorghum feeding value ranges from 90% to nearly equal to corn. The grain is highly palatable to livestock, and intake seldom limits livestock productivity.

Flax has high levels of antioxidants, omega-3 and vitamin E which boost animal health, enhance breeding performance and are good for the immune system. Flax has a higher protein and energy level than corn.

Steam rolled barley can be used in cattle, goat, and sheep rations to increase the grain level in a final ration. Barley is quickly becoming a major feed ingredient in the fast-growing organic dairy industry. Mix with other feedstuffs so a balanced ration can be fed.

Peanuts are the best single source of protein and fat for your birds and a great addition to the choices you offer in your yard. Peanuts are a high-energy food, and a wide variety of birds really enjoy them. Birds such as woodpeckers, titmice, nuthatches, chickadees, jays and more will frequent peanut feeders. Many of their visits will be to carry peanuts off and cache them for a later meal. We offer a variety of bird feeders that allow the birds to pull the peanuts from the feeder, and they can cling anywhere they want.

Give your nut-loving backyard birds a high-protein, high-fat treat. Or, treat squirrels and other wildlife to a feast of their own, and deter them from visiting backyard bird feeders. Whole peanuts meet the high-energy needs of backyard visitors year round. USA-grown.

Soybeans are naturally rich in high energy oils, naturally well balanced with body-building protein, and naturally high in essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Soybeans are an important source of protein in many animal feeds. Roasting soybeans before feeding them to your stock kills mold and other contaminants and makes the beans easier to digest.

Cottonseed hulls are low in protein and energy but high in effective fiber (43 percent). They may be used as the only source of roughage but are more commonly used in combination with limited amounts of silage and/or hay. Cottonseed hulls are very palatable and cows receiving such rations consume about 15 to 25 percent more dry matter than cows receiving silage-based rations.

Beet pulp is made from the fibrous material left over after the sugar is extracted from the sugar beet. It's formed from dried sugar beet pulp with a small amount of molasses added during the drying process. It is an excellent source of digestible fiber, with relatively low crude protein content. Beet pulp is an excellent ingredient for complete horse feeds, where no hay or a limited amount of hay or pasture is fed.

This Wheat Seed is a Duran Soft Beardless Wheat variety. Works great for winter grazing for cattle and goats. This variety also works well to add into your fall wildlife food plot mixes.

Our purpose at Dan's Dakota Oats is to produce the best whole oats possible. We do that by maintaining identity all the way from the seed that is planted until the harvested crop is cleaned and bagged.
